Concerto

Perform with quartet Daedalus

All One-week program students can perform a selected piano concerto (Only 1st movement) with the Quartet Daedalus at D Festival's Closing Gala Concert.

Before performing with Quartet Daedalus, participants will also have the opportunity to attend rehearsal coaching sessions with D Festival faculty members alongside the Quartet Daedalus.

What is the daily schedule like?

Students participate in daily private lessons, group masterclasses, chamber music sessions, and studio classes. The schedule balances intensive training with breaks and social activities throughout each day.

Do you provide practice facilities?

Yes. All participants have access to well-maintained practice rooms and pianos throughout the festival. Practice times are scheduled to accommodate group activities and lessons.

What should I bring to the festival?

Bring your sheet music, performance attire for recitals, comfortable clothing for daily sessions, and any personal items you need. The festival provides practice rooms and access to quality instruments. A list of recommended materials will be sent upon acceptance.

Can parents attend performances?

Parents are welcome to attend all recitals and public performances. We encourage family participation in the festival experience and provide updates on student progress.

Can I audit classes if I am not a full participant?

Audit options are available for select sessions. Contact our admissions team to discuss audit rates and availability. Auditors have limited access to private instruction but can attend masterclasses and lectures.
