FAQs
Find answers to common questions about applications, programs, and the festival.
Visit our application portal to submit your materials. You'll need to create an account, fill out your profile, and upload your audition recording along with required documents. The application deadline varies by program, so check the specific dates on each program page.
We offer four main programs: The Observer Program is designed for individuals aged 8 and above who prefer not to actively participate in the festival. The 1-Week Program caters to young pianists aged 8-17 with a passion for classical music and a desire to collaborate with chamber ensembles. The 12-Day Program is recommended for more advanced young pianists aged 17 and older who wish to fully immerse themselves in the festival experience. Please note that these age recommendations are flexible, and there are no strict age limits for any of the programs.
Most participants choose one program for the two-week festival. However, some activities like lectures and performances are open to all participants. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.
Program fees cover masterclasses, private lessons, group classes, performances, and access to all festival activities. Accommodation and meals are not included unless specified in your program details.
We offer limited scholarships based on merit and need. Applicants can indicate interest in financial aid during the application process. We also work with partners to provide accommodation options at various price points.
